Why Yoga Therapy

In yoga therapy sessions, I focus on you and your unique needs. I want to learn about you, the whole person: what makes you tick, what motivates you, what lights you up. Whatever issue(s) brings you to yoga therapy, you are not a problem that needs to be fixed. I believe that when you take the step to come see me, you're taking your next step towards feeling better and living a fuller and happier life.  

 

Each session starts with an assessment, looking at things such as your:   

  •  Functional movement 

  •  Areas of limitation and compensation

  •  Breath

  •  Levels of stress and fatigue

  •  Behavior 

  •  Overall demeanor​

Meet Fran

With the founding of Be Inspired Yoga™, I brought to life my vision for helping people feel better and to live their lives with more fun and ease.  I was drawn to Yoga Therapy to address my own issues with chronic pain so that I could get back to my favorite activities. I became motivated to become trained and to teach and share yoga therapy and mindfulness meditation after experiencing life-changing effects, which went far beyond just getting out of pain.

The challenges that arise from stress and physical, emotional and mental discomfort are similar for adults and children. Yoga therapy can help children, adolescents and families with unique and special needs.
